CORE is a caucus of unionized public school workers that are dedicated to using our organized labor to fight for the schools and jobs we deserve. We are building real union power by teaching everyday rank-and-file members how to organize, take action, and use our unions to fight back and win.

Events

We meet the moment and hold our own events. Whether it's a protest at the statehouse or an interactive training on using Roberts Rules of Order, we make sure we know the problems and the solutions, and we work together to win.

Media

Our blog and publication, The Member Action Tea, features stories from unions and members across Ohio. Our publication team writes anonymously for protection from retaliatory leaders. The vast majority of our content is free, and we encourage a paid subscription to help fund our website and events (we're in the classroom, and our salaries reflect it).

Connection

We hold quarterly general membership meetings, biweekly organizer meetings (on zoom), and caucus at local, state-affiliate, and national-affiliate representative assemblies. We maintain our database so we can connect CORE members with each other at the local and state levels.
